Twelve houses. Start in yours.

In astrology, the twelfth house holds what we keep hidden: solitude, the inner world, and healing. This page has twelve too. Jump straight to yours.

House I · ADHD therapy for adults

When the to-do list wins every single day.

You know what to do. Your brain won't let you start. We name what's happening, then build systems that fit how you actually work. No "just try harder."

ADHD therapy in Toronto
Term 01Executive dysfunctionTrouble planning, starting, switching and finishing tasks. Not a willpower problem.
Term 02ADHD paralysisFrozen in place, even when the task is small and you badly want it done.
Term 03Rejection sensitive dysphoriaCriticism, real or imagined, that hits like a wall. Common, real, and workable.

House II · Therapy for autistic adults

Missed as a kid. Masking ever since.

A woman in headphones by a bright window, eyes half-closed and smiling

Many autistic adults, especially women and non-binary people, were overlooked because they learned to copy what looked "normal." That takes a toll. This is where you get to stop performing.

Masking & sensory needsUnlearning the act, slowly. Lighting, sound and breaks are built into how sessions run.

House III · AuDHD therapy

THE AUTISTIC SIDETHE ADHD SIDE
Needs routine
Craves novelty
Wants quiet
Needs stimulation
Plans every detail
Can't start the plan
Hates surprises
Gets bored fast

Autistic and ADHD. Both, at once.

Your needs pull in opposite directions, and most therapists only work with one side. We work with both, so the advice finally stops contradicting itself.

House IV · Autistic & ADHD burnout

You're not lazy. You're running on empty after years of masking.

Masking means hiding how your brain works so you fit in. It works, until it doesn't. Burnout is what happens when the cost comes due.

  1. Sign 01You used to manage. Now basic tasks feel impossible.
  2. Sign 02One social plan drains you for days.
  3. Sign 03Sounds, lights and textures hit harder than they used to.
  4. Sign 04Skills you had, like cooking or replying to texts, seem to have disappeared.
  5. Where we startRest first. Then unmask somewhere safe. Then rebuild, at a pace your nervous system can hold.

House V · LGBTQ+ neurodivergent care

No explainer required. For either one.

There's a big overlap between queer, trans and neurodivergent communities. Your pronouns, partners and chosen family are understood from session one. Queer allied, sex-positive and kink-friendly.

Who you'll work with

Hi, I'm Chrissy. Neurodivergent, with lived experience.

Chrissy Gallo-Nizic (she/her) · Registered Psychotherapist, MACP, CYC, SSW · CRPO #15092

I'm here to listen, support, and validate your experiences.

Sometimes our experiences leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed and dysregulated, and that affects how we relate to others and to ourselves. I help clients reconnect with their authentic sense of self, with a focus on ADHD, autism, AuDHD, late diagnosis, masking and burnout.

Together we look at how invisible disabilities, complex relationships and systems shape the way we see the world. We make peace between the inner critic and the authentic self, and use self-compassion to make space to exhale and unmask.
