FAQ

Before you reach out

In crisis? Call or text 9-8-8 any time. This isn’t an emergency service.

Is the consult really free?

Yes. It’s 15 minutes, there’s no charge, and there’s no obligation to book a session afterwards.

What if we’re not a good fit?

That's what the consult is for. If I'm not the right person for what you need, I'll do my best to point you to someone who is.

Do I need a diagnosis or a referral?

No. You can book directly, whether you’re diagnosed, self-identified or still wondering.

Can someone else book for me?

A partner or parent can reach out to start, but I’ll want to hear from you directly before we begin.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you’re in crisis, call or text 9-8-8 any time, or go to your nearest emergency department.
